Since he was born, Tanis has been sleeping through the night with the occasional middle night wakings which are rare. Last night he awoke around 2 a.m., he doesn't sleep with a blanket because he rolls around so much. So he may have been a little cold last night. At this age we're still trying to work on breaking him of the bottle habit. During the day he takes a nap without a bottle but at night he has one before as he goes to bed, I know its a very bad habit but I'm trying to make it a smooth process as possible...for everyone. He may also be in the beginning stages of teething so I don't want to sleep coach him. When everyone (meaning grandma) follows the daily routine it all works out okay. So last night I gave him a bottle which he finished and I had hoped he would just fall back asleep. Unfortunately, last night was one of those times when a bottle would be the only thing to get him back to sleep. Since he had fallen asleep earlier without it, I figured he would fall back asleep fairly easily...but that wasn't the case. It's hard when I work in the mornings because I have to give him to daddy and can't be there for him. I feel so bad when he cries and I want to make it all better for him. It has truly been a learning process for us.
