Although I loved the products and wanted to do well with Scentsy, I just came to a decision that it just wasn't for me. Another factor was money, I wasn't able to put into it what I needed to and still support our personal needs and my dreams. I had hoped it would be a great way to make a little extra money. I wasn't a 100% into and didn't have the drive to really push it. Now I need to focus more on what I truly want to do and through my blog writing and research I truly believe I will accomplish that.
Way to go Cat! Sometimes we hear the pitch and want to believe that it's gonna be THE perfect thing, so we try it out. No harm in that. Recently, I did my best with a direct sales co. but like you, my heart was just not in it, though my brain kept saying try harder. In the end, I knew I was better off doing something else.
ReplyDeleteI feel sorry for the ladies who are so far in finacially they could never leave, even though they may want to.
I wish you all the best in whatever you do!
Thank you Linda! After reading your post, I knew I had made the right decision. I too feel bad for those who have invested a lot of time and money into their direct sales co. I didn't want to be in it so deep (financially) that I wouldn't be able to recover. We both made the right decision and like you I will be able to find my dream business/job. I enjoy your blog as wel because it's very inspiring and you have a lot of great ideas and posts! Keep up the great work and see you around the blog!
