How To Start Your Own Handbag Business

How To Start Your Own Handbag Business

Found this interesting article while researching ideas and finding inspiration for my yet to be discovered business.  I am interested in so many things but one of the things I love is handbags! They are my one weakness and if I could I would spend my entire paycheck on buying new bags.  Just recently I bought my first real Coach bag! I got it at a good price and I just could not resist.

I love having a large tote bag to carry all my essentials when I go to work because I live an hour from where I work, I need to have with me whatever it is I may need while at work.  Half the time I don't use what I throw in my bag but you just never know what you need.  Then again I like having a smaller bag when I don't feel like lugging around my "house" with me.  Any how, because of my love of bags I had the idea awhile back to start my own handbag business, it's what what made want to go back to school and learn more about fashion.  I sewed my first bag my hand and enjoyed it, but when the sewing machine became involved....jury still out on that one...

I found some really good points and advice from this article, perhaps go back to school or take some online classes and learn at my own pace?  I've had a few good ideas for designs and would create my own on a small scale then build up.  Plus, money factors a lot into what I can do...

  1. Check out Thirty-One Gifts. They have really nice bags and you can be an independent consultant. Go to my website at www.mythirtyone.com/lunamom for more information.

    1. Hi Kim!

Thanks for the heads up, I'm still thinking about hosting a party and hoping to get others interested. I think the bags are so cute and I would love to have them all! I am also thinking of maybe designing my own and maybe being a consultant will give me more bag experience. I will keep it in mind and let you know!
