How To Start Your Own Handbag Business
Found this interesting article while researching ideas and finding inspiration for my yet to be discovered business. I am interested in so many things but one of the things I love is handbags! They are my one weakness and if I could I would spend my entire paycheck on buying new bags. Just recently I bought my first real Coach bag! I got it at a good price and I just could not resist.
I love having a large tote bag to carry all my essentials when I go to work because I live an hour from where I work, I need to have with me whatever it is I may need while at work. Half the time I don't use what I throw in my bag but you just never know what you need. Then again I like having a smaller bag when I don't feel like lugging around my "house" with me. Any how, because of my love of bags I had the idea awhile back to start my own handbag business, it's what what made want to go back to school and learn more about fashion. I sewed my first bag my hand and enjoyed it, but when the sewing machine became involved....jury still out on that one...
I found some really good points and advice from this article, perhaps go back to school or take some online classes and learn at my own pace? I've had a few good ideas for designs and would create my own on a small scale then build up. Plus, money factors a lot into what I can do...
Check out Thirty-One Gifts. They have really nice bags and you can be an independent consultant. Go to my website at www.mythirtyone.com/lunamom for more information.
ReplyDeleteHi Kim!
DeleteThanks for the heads up, I'm still thinking about hosting a party and hoping to get others interested. I think the bags are so cute and I would love to have them all! I am also thinking of maybe designing my own and maybe being a consultant will give me more bag experience. I will keep it in mind and let you know!
